About the Position
The facility is equipped with soft play structure as well as dedicated private party room and toddler area. At Safari we thrive to provide a clean, friendly and well-maintained facility for all our guests and members. We are looking to hire an individual who has passion for health and fitness, enjoys building relationships, and exhibits the highest level of customer service possible when communicating and interacting with guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets and introduces all children into Safari with a welcoming smile.
• Follows company policy by requiring that all children to leave their shoes in the cubbies, wear socks, and parents sign a waiver for any children using the facility.
• Be present on the floor and offer assistance as necessary
• Maintains a clean, safe environment by following established security procedures and being aware of surroundings at all times.
• Keeps appropriate records and reporting of attendance, behavior, and accidents daily to Operations Manager
• Ensure parents and children are treated with responsive respectfulness
• For any child who needs behavioral re-direction coached vs. scolded; discuss behavior tactfully
• Ensure that all items on the opening and closing operations checklists are completed

• Communicates effectively with parents and guardians, children and coworkers
• Energetic and friendly personality
• Patience with all children is required
• Represent Safari in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response

• Child Care experience is preferred
• CPR/AED & First Aid certifications (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• High school or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• All employees must complete a criminal background and motor vehicle record check and must complete I-9 verification upon hire.
